We are pleased to introduce three new lines of Mariachi instruments, endorsed by Maestro Jose Hernandez of Sol de Mexico®, the nation's premier Mariachi ensemble.
The Jose Hernandez Signature series is considered the top of the line. With upgraded hardware, beautifully matched tonewoods, and gorgeous abalone inlay, these instruments set themselves above the rest. These instruments are so professional, Jose Hernandez himself lent his autograph to the top of each headstock.

Is this the official site or does Jose have his own site where we can call and order a custom one?

Unfortunately, we are not doing a custom option on these. This is a line that we have worked with Jose personally on and is only available through us (West Music).
Please note: Jose is not personally making these. These were created with help of his designs and personally endorsed by Jose himself. - Q.
What size are the guitarron? Can the pegs be made of emery? What about the fingerboard? What is it made from? Can the Nut and Bridge be made from a different material?

The size of the guitarrones we have right now would fall under a size 2, but we are looking into options to cover all sizes. As for customization, currently we are not able to do any modifications, but we will gladly accept any suggestions.
The fingerboard is granadillo.
