DVD
Approx. 33 min. plus Solo-Cam's total footage is approx. 76 additional min.

This award-winning computer animation video album is a captivating breakthrough DVD. The 7 computer-animated musical compositions capture everyone's attention and open unique teaching opportunities at all grade levels.

Using custom-developed, cutting-edge software technology, director Wayne Lytle invents self-playing graphical instruments, perfectly synchronized to the digitally created soundtrack, allowing students to "see the music". From the robotic laser-precision of Future Retro and rapid-fire ball bearings of Pipe Dream to the serene acoustic beauty of Aqua Harp, each animation is an intricate melding of music and visuals.

Teachers report that concepts like rhythm, intervals, melody, harmony, and orchestration are easily illustrated by the combination of music and stunning visual imagery. The commentary by the composer/ creator is about the creation of each piece.

Special Solo-Cam angles let you view a single instrument from a fixed viewpoint, and over 250 production stills show the design evolution of instruments and stages. A basic outline for music classes is included.

Contents: Future Retro, Stick Figures, Aqua Harp, Drum Machine, Pipe Dream, Acoustic Curves, Harmonic Voltage.

Note: Educational use of this video is permitted!  It may be used during classes, lessons, or at school events.
