Sturdy. Musical. Excellent.

This canon has been a perfect addition to my classroom instrument collection. I now have an extra seat/instrument to use in class drum circles. That is, when I'm not hogging it for my own use. Seriously, I enjoy playing this instrument more than all of my other classroom percussion instruments. The kids are always asking to use it, as well. I'm particularly impressed by the raspy, earthy sound produced by the bamboo snares. Awesome variety of tones. I want my own (grown-up version) really badly! Wish that West sold the full-size Sonor Cajons with the bamboo snares...
