African Rhythms 4-note G Piccolo tongue drum. High, bright, and very musical - a good choice for melodic exploration. Inspired by the rhythms and harmonies of African music, these drums bring a new sound to mallet percussion. Solid oak drumfaces produce a warm, woody tone. Sturdy, with a pleasing sound. Mostly pentatonic tuning (no F#'s), so that it blends wonderfully with other African Rhythms tongue drums for ensemble playing. Each drum includes 1 pair of bouncy rubber mallets.
