African Rhythms 4-note Treble II tongue drum. This drum has a crisp, woody tone in the alto range, with a surprisingly big sound for a small drum. Inspired by the rhythms and harmonies of African music, these drums bring a new sound to mallet percussion. Solid oak drumfaces produce a warm, woody tone. Sturdy, with a pleasing sound. Mostly pentatonic tuning (no F#'s), so that it blends wonderfully with other African Rhythms tongue drums for ensemble playing. Each drum includes and 1 pair of bouncy rubber mallets.
