This book celebrates the music inside us while exploring ways to express this music using our most available instrument- our bodies. Use the book's contents as a handy reference and even an idea-generator.

General information as well as targeted examples for a variety of body, vocal and mouth sounds are included within the first two sections- great to teach the basics and to help students internalize rhythmic concepts. The last section includes pieces that employ various combinations of all the introduced sounds. Extend these experiences with your students' creativity.

Reproducible student parts and a CD are included. The CD presents examples of the sounds introduced in the book. Most of the pieces are performed on the CD using the layering process giving models of performance options. Student can also perform with the CD tracks.
