Fun and unique ideas to incorporate song and interactive play into your next drum circle, music class or music therapy session. Activities include playing games, story games, movement games, and circle songs. Songs are notated on a staff. The activities are divided into 3 primary sections: Breaking the Ice, Making Connections, and Shaking It Up.

Breaking the Ice - These activities are designed to be used during the first part of a rhythm event. They include icebreakers, warm-ups and activities designed to introduce participants to the interactive rhythm-making experience and to one another.

Making Connections - This section is dedicated to interpersonal interaction. These Activities are designed to make connections on a one to one level and include tapping a neighbor's drum or making eye contact.

Shaking It Up - This section features games and songs designed to bring energy, fun, and a new level of group connectivity in the rhythm-making session.
