From their website:

Black Hawk Pipes & Drums Band

We are always looking to recruit members from the surrounding area of those interested in learning to play the pipes or drums and those who are experienced yet interested in being a part of a local pipe and drum band.

Most of our performances are parades during the summer months. We play concerts in such venues as the Burns Dinner, Davenport, IA (January); Bishop Hill, IL, (June); Celtic Highland Games, Davenport, IA, (September) Usher's Ferry Celtic Fest, Iowa, (September).  Our parade season opens with the St. Patrick's Day Parade, the only one in the nation that spans two states: from Rock Island, Illinois over the Mississippi River into Davenport, Iowa. See our Band Calendar page for more information

We are continually looking to expand our performance schedule and band opportunities.

Band History: Black Hawk Pipes and Drums originated in 2000 with tremendous support of the Scottish American Society of the Quad Cities, and have grown from a humble beginning of six pipers to our present fielding of 17 pipers, four side drummers, three tenor drummers, and a base.
