The end of summer is quickly approaching and here in Coralville that means the SoundReach Choir will soon begin rehearsing for their fall concert. SoundReach is a community choir for adults with developmental disabilities, and is a great way for individuals of all abilities to come together and achieve the overall goal of performing as a group. SoundReach rehearsals begin Wednesday, August 10, 2011 at West Music in Coralville from 6:00 -7:00 pm. Choir members rehearse once a week for about three months and then give a concert for the public. This semester SoundReach members will be learning music from classic television shows and cartoons. Participants will be performing at the Iowa City/Johnson County Senior Center on Wednesday, November 9th, 2011 at 7:00 pm. Admission to the concert is free, so mark your calendars in advance and come support the SoundReach Choir!
