Summertime might be your time to rest, reflect and recharge your inner batteries for next fall. As you pack up your classroom for summer, do you ever come across a book or lesson that you forgot about last year? Does that idea need some rethinking and rejuvenating this summer? If so, look for music related training or a conference this summer to get those creative ideas going.
Whether your interest is Early Childhood, Kodály, Mariachi, Orff Schulwerk or World Music Drumming – West Music has the connection for you. Many of us from West Music are traveling to these events to participate and learn new ideas, too. By the way, we’ll also have bookstores with the latest and greatest materials for you to review as well as some of the “gems” from our catalog. We’ll have a sampling of these brands of instruments at many of these events: Basic Beat, Sonor, Studio 49, Remo, Toca, Latin Percussion, and Yamaha.
- There are 10 World Music Drumming workshops happening around the United States this summer. Follow this link for all the details of how to register for these trainings.
