Teacher Feature: Jim Mulac
WHAT:
Coming to Marion West Music, “Acchording to Jim”, an introductory two week session taught by Jim Mulac on piano chording for piano players, ages 12 and up with a piano proficiency at a level 2. This two week session is being offered on Saturday, June 18 and 25 from 10:30-12:30 at West Music in Marion. The cost for each session is $40.
But wait, there’s more…Take what you learned in “Acchording to Jim” and sign up for the follow up second session, “Intro to Piano Improv”, being offered on Saturday, July 9 and 16 from 10:30-12:30. Cost for each session is $40. Take what you learned in chording and apply it to learning how to improvise. Learn the little tricks that make you sound fabulous.

About Jim Mulac
Jim Mulac has been a professional jazz pianist in the Cedar Rapids/Iowa City area for more than 30 years and has been teaching piano for more than 20 years. Jim studied jazz theory with Alan Swain in Chicago and was a classical piano student at the University of Iowa. While his emphasis is in jazz performance and theory, he enjoys teaching all styles of music to all levels of piano players.
