Mary Fitzgerald holds a Bachelor of Music Education and Piano degree from Simpson College where she graduated in 2011. There she also participated in Women’s and Mixed Choirs. She considers herself a lifelong learner and within the past couple years has really realized the great importance of music, emotion, practice, and patience. Mary accepts all ages, her lessons are relaxed and humor filled all while constructive where learning can be excelled. She has studied with Dr. Ron Albrecht and Dr. Michael Patterson of Indianola and Zeljka Stijacic of Des Moines. Mary’s musical hobbies are being the Bell Choir Director at St. Francis in West Des Moines and doing two musicals in her hometown the past spring.

Lesson Policy
I will offer lessons weekly or bi weekly whatever fits the need of the students schedule. Payments will be made out at the beginning of the month. If you are unable to attend a lesson, please contact as soon as you know, preferably 24 hours before the lesson. A skipped lesson without warning prior to the lesson will be a missed lesson without refund. Lessons that can't be attended and with advanced warning will result in a makeup/rescheduled lesson between the student, west music and Mary.
