Kaylee HughesKaylee Hughes is a violin student of West Music Conservatory instructor, Louann Flaherty. She has been studying with her for 7 years.

Kaylee is very talented. She is 1st chair in the orchestra at West High and, according to Louann, she is a “fantastic musician” and enjoys playing her music very much. Her advice to other musicians is to practice and stay focused.

She enjoys softball and tumbling and plans on going into the medical field. She also likes drawing and can sew very well. It might surprise people that Kaylee has played hockey in the past!

Kaylee has a very musical family. Her brother, Cole, plays the drums and her mother, Cindy, plays the violin. Her Aunts Christy and Shelly play the violin as well.

Congratulations on your achievements Kaylee! We are so proud of your passion for music.
