Sheri Joebgen is a violin student of Andrea Alert. She has been studying with her since February 2013. Her musical achievement is that she that she comes to all of her lessons!
Sheri’s musical goal is to be able to play violin professionally sometime in the future. Her advice to other musicians is to practice hard and use whatever tools are available, such as tuners, to make learning easier. Sheri began playing violin because her uncle passed away. She had previously been telling herself that she would never be able to play the violin, but then she realized that she really could learn. Then she jumped into lessons.
Sheri and her Mom are the only ones in their family that are involved in music. Sheri’s mom was previously a cantor at her church. Congratulations on your achievements, Sheri! We are so proud of you!
