Corey is 9th grade student at East High and a guitar student of West Music Conservatory instructor, Nathan Dalziel. He has been taking lessons for about four years. He also plays trumpet, ukulele, drums, mallet percussion, and takes vocal and piano lessons. Corey participates in various band concerts and recitals. He had the opportunity to take part in jazz band competitions with East High, which the school has not done in 10 years. His ensemble received a division II rating!
Corey’s musical goals are to learn bassoon, tenor saxophone, baritone saxophone, and violin. He wants to be able to play an instrument from each group of the orchestra. His future goals are to double major in Vet Medicine and Music Education and minor in Web Design. Corey spends most of his time playing music. He also enjoys spending time with his three ducks, two dogs, and lizard at home. Congratulations on your achievements, Corey! We are very proud of you!
