Quiliano Anderson recently graduated with a Doctor of Musical Arts Degree in Voice and Opera at the University of Iowa. He has had ten years teaching experience at West Music as voice teacher and guitar teacher (since 2004). He is also a current member of NATS (National Association of Teachers of Singing). In addition, Quiliano Anderson has performed numerous leading roles in opera at the University of Iowa. Dr. Anderson has performed chorus roles with the Minnesota Opera as well as some minor roles with Cedar Rapids Opera.
Dr. Anderson earned his bachelor's degree in voice performance and classical guitar performance from the University of Minnesota and graduate voice performance at Westminster Choir College of Rider University. As a former member of the Schubert Club in St. Paul, Minnesota, he frequently performed in recitals and taught guitar privately. Dr. Anderson teaches voice and guitar to students from ages 7 years and above and focuses on each individual's learning style.
