Jessica Saunders - Voice
Jessica holds her masters degree in vocal performance from the University of Northern Iowa and her bachelor’s degree from Wartburg College. She is currently working on her doctorate of musical arts degree in vocal performance at the University of Iowa.
Jessica works at the Performing Arts Production Unit for the dance, theater, and opera departments at the University of Iowa and is working on creating a training program for singers and teachers.
She loves to travel, spend time with friends, read, dance, bike and of course, SING! In 2010 Jessica traveled to Russia and Germany as an intern with Camp Adventure.
In December Jessica appeared as a soprano soloist for the Southeast Iowa Symphony’s performance of Handel’s Messiah and will be performing the roll of The Fairy Queen in the University of Iowa’s summer production of Iolanthe. She has also judged at the Bill Riley Talent Search at the Iowa State Fair and appeared with Wartburg Choir, Wartburg Opera Ensemble, UNI Opera Ensemble, Quad Cities Opera and performed in the Winter Opera at the University of Iowa.
