MOM MARI May 2014

Sophia Spinner

Sophia Spinner is a violin student of Amy Brandt. She has been studying with Amy for only 5 months. Sophia is a home schooled 3rd grader. Amy nominated Sophia because she recently performed in her first Studio Showcase Series recital here at West Music.  This was her very first recital she has ever performed in and didn’t miss a note!

Another of Sophia’s musical goals is to learn to play the piano.

Her advice to other musicians is to find a great instructor like Ms. Brandt and practice, practice, practice!

In her spare time she likes to play with her hamster, read books, and watch anime. She also likes archery and has her own bow! Her brothers take guitar, trumpet, and drum lessons at West Music. Her dad plays the organ and her mom previously played the clarinet.
