Walnut Creek, CA (October 8, 2010) — National Teacher Registry (NTR) announced today the addition of West Music to the National Teacher Registry family of suppliers. NTR has expanded its education products by partnering with West Music Company in response to requests from teachers to provide musical instruments and music products for their Classroom Wish Lists. More than 6,000 high-quality, music products from West Music Company have been added to the NTR website and are now available for teacher’s Wish Lists and for purchase by parents and others committed to helping teachers and schools bridge the budget gap.

Teachers who visit the National Teacher Registry website create online Wish Lists targeting the specific needs of their classroom. Once created, Wish Lists can be easily accessed by potential donors by the teacher or school’s name. Parents and other supporters can purchase items from the list and have their selections delivered directly to the classroom. When a purchase is made, the teacher receives an email detailing what was bought and who made the contribution. The website also incorporates email, letter and flyer templates to help teachers spread the word about their Wish List.

Ron Coleman, NTR CEO says, “West Music is highly regarded as one of the leading suppliers of music products to the educational market. NTR is committed to helping teachers, students and their families gain access to products that enhance the educational experience. We believe the addition of West Music’s products does just that.”

“West Music is honored to be selected as a partner with the National Teacher Registry. Our missions are aligned in bringing quality products to the school music classroom and allowing both teachers and students the opportunity to access the resources they need for a complete music education”, states Robin Walenta, President of West Music Company.

Among the West Music-sourced products now on the NTR website are virtually all musical instruments including pianos, keyboards, band and orchestra instruments, guitars, amplifiers, percussion, Orff instruments, recorders and more. Also available are tuners, metronomes, print music and books, music stands, games and teaching aids, and software.

Coleman says, “West Music offers a wealth of music related products for teachers’ Wish Lists and for the classroom. We’re proud to welcome West Music Company as a partner and look forward to a long, rewarding relationship.”
