Tom Blew has been teaching percussion for 49 years. He teaches all levels and all styles of drumming. His education includes graduation from Parsons College on a music scholarship, where he was a double major in elementary education and history and had a minor in music. Though now a retired schoolteacher, Tom stays busy playing in the band Out of the Blew. He also traveled extensively all over the country with the Don Blew jazz quartet. He has performed in Las Vegas and has opened for many Nashville stars. His interests outside of music include reading, writing, and composing music. He is about to release his first CD of contemporary Christian music.
