Leo Rinehart - Guitar
Leo picked up his first guitar that a friend had brought to a youth retreat years ago. He describes the experience as a “light bulb moment” and has been playing ever since. He has been taking guitar lessons for three and a half years at West Music and is currently studying under Andy Cowan. He takes drum lessons from Wes Weeber and also plays bass guitar, mandolin, and keys.
He prefers to write his own music. Although he loves many musical genres and bands, he doesn’t like to play covers. He described his taste in music as very eclectic, ranging from gypsy jazz to deathcore. Fame and fortune are not the driving force behind Leo’s musical intrigue. He has a “keep it local” approach to song writing and doesn’t really see himself on a big bus touring the country. He has a very supportive family which provides him endless encouragement.
His favorite food is pasta. He has two dogs and three cats that he claims can be a bit mischievous at times.
Leo recently graduated from high school and is going to be attending Galloup School of Lutherie in Michigan in June 2014.
