Isabelle Kussatz plays both violin and viola, taking lessons with Jenni Pickering. She began playing strings when she was only 9 years old. She currently plays with the Bettendorf High School orchestra and is very excited to be traveling with the group to Disney World this spring break! Isabelle is a huge fan of the Disney princesses and Mickey Mouse vinylmation so this trip will be extra exciting for her! Not only is Isabelle a talented musician, she also excels in drawing and would love to animate for Disney someday! She is planning on joining the Future Business Leaders of America at school and has dreams of opening an art studio someday with a focus on cartooning and animation.
Isabelle has a younger sister, Maggie, and a dog named Lucy. When asked to describe her daughter in three words, Mom gazed affectionately at Isabelle and said “quiet, sweet, and smart”. I would have to concur with mom on that! In keeping with the holiday spirit, Isabelle reflected briefly on Christmases past and noted her favorite Christmas present to date was surprise Lion King tickets on Broadway! Lucky girl! We wish you continued success with your music and your future art career!
