Beth Eddy began taking piano lessons in the 1st grade and tenor sax in the 5th grade. She was given a guitar for her sixteenth birthday which she wrote many songs on. In college she added the ukulele to her musical repertoire, which has come to be her favorite instrument of the bunch!
A self proclaimed “dramatic child who loved to dance and sing,” Beth has always had a flair for music and all the avenues that lead to it. She continued on her musical path through college and played in the University Wind Symphony and Marching Band at Olivet Nazarene University where she graduated with a degree in Elementary Education.
After graduation Beth was offered a position at Donovon Jr/Sr High School teaching Spanish, although she was not fluent. She spent the next year teaching herself Spanish and is now fluent and teaches 2nd grade Bi-Lingual at Hillcrest Elementary School. Very impressive, Beth! We are honored to have you join our Conservatory! Beth loves to crotchet in her free time and her favorite author is John Green!
