Quad Cities March 2014 Musician of the Month: Kyle Lager
By West Music Conservatory
3/3/2014 2:51:00 PM

Kyle LagerKyle Lager has been studying with piano teacher Paul Benevides for almost a year. He attend John Deere Middle School and also plays percussion there. His band director was surprised he played piano! Kyle will be completing his first piano solo competition in April 2014, the Middle School Solo and Ensemble Contest.

Kyle’s other musical goals are to write his own music and perform with a symphony orchestra. His advice to other musicians is, “Keep trying even though it may seem hard!” When he’s not practicing, he works with horses at the family farm and enjoys playing Minecraft on the computer.

There’s music in this family:  Sister AnnaBelle plays violin and Grandfather is a ‘self-made’ musician, playing drums, and any instrument he could find! Keep up the great work, Kyle!
