Jasmere MayfieldJasmere Mayfield

String and Electric bass

Jasmere Mayfield has been playing string bass and electric bass for 5 1/2 years, but you would guess a lot longer if you hear him in action.  He has been teaching for a year and a half after taking private lessons from Don Gustafson.  He is currently a full-time music education major at Black Hawk College.  He plays in a few ensembles there from Concert to Jazz band, and also plays in local bands Snogulated Pig (metal) and Wolf Hongo (jazz).

When Jasmere isn’t playing bass, he likes to play video games and watch anime. He is also learning to speak German. Ask any associate for his available lesson times so you can slap-da-bass like him, too!

Click here to sign up for lessons with Jasmere at half price through the month of March!
