Ken Smith primarily teaches Drums, but also has experience in teaching guitar.  He is an Orion High graduate and attended Burklee College of Music in 1977 and 1978.  Ken started drumming at age 3, piano at age 8 and guitar at 11.  He had his own studio in Orion and taught there for 6 years.  He is currently drums for a band "tangent" and subs for a few other local bands.  His hobbies include golfing, hosta gardening and playing with his grandkids.  His ultimate favorite part of teaching is students get the "Ah hah!" moment when they "get it."
