From The Montreal Gazette:
Entrepreneurs Wendy Wiseman and Sherry Segal are hot on the heels of breakthrough educational methods with their successful website Kiboomu.com. In celebration of the company's third anniversary, they've released three apps on Apple's programming platform for the iPod Touch, iPhone and iPad. These apps feature interactive renditions of Twinkle Twinkle, Old MacDonald and The ABC Song.
"MONTREAL - When a child asks for Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star these days, they don't necessarily expect their parents to break into song.
They might prefer mom or dad surrender the iPhone, so they can hear the song and play along on touch-sensitive piano keys that light up with the music. Yes, there's an app for that, and it's the idea of Montrealers Wendy Wiseman and Sherry Segal.
The founders of Kiboomu.com,Wiseman and Segal, marked the company's first anniversary today by releasing three apps, which include interactive piano versions of Old MacDonald and the ABC song, along with Twinkle Twinkle.
Kiboomu's products have been mentioned by the Huffington Post, in various top app lists, and won a seal of excellence in Creative Child magazine's 2010 toy contest. Wiseman and Segal plan to release three more apps in February, this time tying music into puzzle and colouring games."
