Nathan Dalziel is a teacher at the West Music Cedar Falls Conservatory. He teaches guitar and bass at $19 per half hour weekly lesson. His curriculum is designed for beginners and advanced players alike, in many styles (ages 5 +).
Nathan has had over 5 years of private guitar instruction and an additional 2 years of theory. He continues to do independent study and research on various guitar styles and playing techniques. He currently plays lead guitar in Foo’s Gold, a Foo Fighters tribute band. He also plays for the worship team at Cedar Heights Baptist Church. Nathan was asked to play guitar with the Boston String Quartet at their concert in February of 2012 at Gallagher Bluedorn. Memorable songs played that evening were the theme music to Super Mario Brothers, Devil Went Down to Georgia, and Oye Como Va. He'll be playing with Foo’s Gold at My Waterloo Days.
Nathan has been playing guitar since 1995. He enjoys performing and spends time researching and studying different styles of music. He's one of our talented Weekend Warrior Coaches and has coached styles ranging from jazz to heavy metal. He also enjoys studying American and family history, and is a faithful follower of the Chicago White Sox and the Bears. He lives in Waterloo with his wife Erin, their daughter Abbi, and an American Bulldog named Lovie.
