Featuring Dennis "Chic" Worth
Written by Mendel Kurland

Dennis "Chic" Worth is not just your average guitar teacher. Besides teaching for the last 23 years (yes, I said 23!!), Chic is a dedicated musician who plays all types of music and not only performs locally, but also plays at church in his worship group. Chic's goal is to make a great guitar player out of everyone his talent touches.

Chic is truly passionate about music and the guitar, and has been involved in the music scene for most of his life, getting his first electric guitar at the age of 15. Two years later, at 17 years old, he was playing at local venues, making a name for himself. In high school Chic was a two time all-state vocalist and played in a local Ottumwa based band with Tom Arnold.

Later, Chic received his AA from Indian Hills Community College.
