 Come one, come all to The Mill in Iowa City for the Weekend Warrior concert THIS Sunday, October 18th at 7:00PM!!
Weekend Warrior concerts have grown so large over the last few years we can expect 100-200 in the audience. It has become a major event and is ridiculously fun! Come out and support live music and West Music! The food at The Mill is great, the bands have a great variety of music. Here’s a rundown of the groups you will see Sunday night:
Lucky Underwear Don Scott, Greg Helton and Chuck Watson compose this band of rock. The music is tight with Don’s amazing leads and great drums and bass. The music is all hard rock and all great! Not Enough Rope Tom Rietz, Chuck Watson, Greg Helton, Bill Keating, and Marlys McKaig and Lucy Sharp are the members of this classic and soft rock band. Music ranges from jazzy to current county and classic top 40 rock. Put on your dancing shoes because you WILL get up and move to this band! How ‘Bout Not? Sam Brodersen Rodriquez, Aaron Zuspann, Greg Helton and Chuck Watson rock this band! The music is all about great guitar and vocals as the song list includes Kings of Leon, The Eagles, Weezer and Boston. DO NOT miss these guys!! Weekend Warriors is an 8 week program where musicians of all skill levels and ages get together to form bands. They meet, talk about songs, make a song list, rehearse for 7 weeks and play a concert at the end of the session. It’s fun, exciting and can be a wild ride!! See you Sunday!
