Now, in its fourth semester, Sing & Play & Learn Today is our own curriculum for ages 3 months – 5 years! Using activities created by nationally recognized Early Childhood Music and Movement authors as well as our own educational staff, SPLT has been created to help your child experience the amazing musical and non-musical life skills outcomes of early childhood music and movement!
While activities vary by age range, they include singing, listening, vocal and rhythmic practice, dancing, bouncing, exploring simple percussion instruments, drumming, keyboards, and experiencing a wide variety of musical examples, including folk songs, classical music, multi-cultural songs, jazz, and more.

Our Sing, Play, Keys curriculum has been created by Nancy Cree, head of the highly successful Nancy Cree Keyboard Learning Centers program. From body awareness, good finger technique, good rhythm skills, learning finger numbers and the piano key names, to learning how much fun it is to play a song by themselves and together with other students, the program is designed to give young students a fun way to start playing the piano. At the end of the two-semester program, most students will be ready to start private piano lessons.
Semester 1 explores body awareness, rhythm activities with the introduction of the quarter and half note, finger plays and exercises designed to strengthen and incorporate beginning finger technique, exploring the keyboard's black and white keys, learning about the instruments of the orchestra, and playing songs using finger numbers.
Our keyboard music classes help students learn to share, work and play together, improve listening skills, and have lots of fun making music.
