50 Easy Two-Part Exercises
By Denise Bacon
51 pages

First steps in a cappella part singing, using sol-fa and staff notation (according to the Kodaly concept). For children or early steps at any age level. Book's purpose is to develop sight reading skill and to build secure intonation in short, easily mastered exercises of melodic and rhythmic independence. The first half of the book is in sol-fa and the second half has the exercises in staff notation. Exercises are short and progressively of larger range and difficulty. They are restricted to the pentatonic scale for correct intonation purposes.
