Description

Scarf canopy in royal blue. Developed at the request of music therapists and early childhood educators, scarf canopies are visually and tactilely stimulating, light weight, and see-through (ideal for babies and small children). The 9' x 9' scarf is highly portable, easily folding to a conveniently small size. The possibilities are as wide as your imagination!

Some ideas for possible uses:
Use as you would a parachute - lift up for children to run under, or add props to the middle (beach ball, leaves, cotton balls, etc.). Have children under the canopy trying to "hit" props out while adults are at the edges trying to keep props in.

I chose this because we had used them at an Orff workshop. They are wonderful, and the children are very expressive when they use the canopies. However, the corners have frayed and even shredded through what I would deem as "normal" use, and repairing them may be challenging.

I like that it is very large, but you can see through it. It is excellent in an infant class with adults. There is a lot of movement and flow.

The light fabric and the nature is great for our early childhood parent/child classes.

Works great in my music classes. Less intimidating then parachute.

This is a fun alternative to a parachute. Nice simulation for water play.
