Our Perspective

This mallet cuff is the perfect tool when working with individuals that are unable to grip a mallet.  It fastens over the hand with Velcro and has a small pocket to insert a shortened mallet (sold separately), allowing a person to use a mallet without having to grip it.  A tool like this allows for independent playing for a person that would not otherwise be able.  -Jenny

The adolescent size mallet cuff fits users approximately ages 6 to 13; it's a comfortable holder for small mallets or triangle strikers (mallets or strikers must be purchased separately). Adjustable to fit the user's condition and hand size, the mallet cuff has a pocket to securely hold the handle of a mallet and an adjustable Velcro strap that goes around the user's fingers. This allows independant play of instruments even without being able to grasp a mallet. The width of the strap is about 1", and adjusts to approximately 3" to 4" in length. Purchase mallets separately (we recommend set 253915).
