I have a consort of recorders and when I demonstrate the recorders to my students I discuss how just as the recorder has a different voicing it is like people... their voices differ also from high to low and range. It helps to make the connection between instrumental music and vocal music. I think that all musicians should be able to sing what they play and recorders are an economical way to make this connection

I teach recorder in a public school and like to show the students the different recorder sizes. This one was the only one I didn't have.

I am adding to my collection of recorders and wanted them to be all the same brand.

My children love to play in our recorder ensemble. We play Tues, Wed, & Thurs, before school. Many switch between Soprano, Alto, Sopranino and Tenor, they also wanted to try the Garkliein recorder since I am the only one that has one.
