Our Perspective

Ever feel like everything is right with your children’s percussion ensemble piece except for…well something to really top it off? That smile inducing “ting” or “ching” that can only be achieved using finger cymbals may be just the thing! These Basic Beat finger cymbals are lighter and brighter and perfect for songs or sound effects while reading favorite poems and stories to your class!  -Randy

By Basic Beat. Set of four, 2" diameter stamped brass finger cymbals - so you have two pairs in each set. Lighter and lower pitched than our cast brass finger cymbals (item 200607, available separately), each set of 4 finger cymbals weighs 0.14 pounds. The black elastic straps are already securely stitched in place - an attached silver buckle on each strap allows for slight adjustments in the length of the elastic, for an individual fit. Good quality - set of 2 pair; a great value!

Please note: The musical instruments on our website and in our catalog are not toys. They are intended for use with adult supervision and are not for children under 3 years of age, unless otherwise indicated.

I have used these finger cymbals in the past with primary age general music classes. They are very appropriate for young children to use. Not too heavy!
