Our Perspective

This is a quality set at a great price!  When you purchase these two items together, you save money - who doesn’t want to do that?  The bongos are a quality set that will stand the test of time in your classroom.  The stand is sturdy with double braced legs and is height adjustable to accommodate all players.  If you are in need of bongos and a stand, this set is it!  -Jenny

Tunable Latin wood bongos with 7" and 8" diameter, natural skin heads; shells have a natural satin finish. Tuning wrench included.

The included BB97 stand is height-adjustable and double-braced.  Tilt is also adjustable.  Stand height, from floor to the ledge where the bongos rest, ranges from about 29-1/2" to 43".

Please note: The musical instruments on our website and in our catalog are not toys. They are intended for use with adult supervision and are not for children under 3 years of age, unless otherwise indicated.

Why did you choose this?
West Music Store
Like temple blocks, I borrowed a set from another music teacher and decided to order my own. The connecting piece between the high and low drum is split and sound is not great. Hoping they can be tightened/tuned. Rubber feet are missing on some screws. Should have ordered Remo kids, but thought this would be better quality.

what is the difference between Basic Beat BB571 and the other, less expensive bongos with stand that cost $96?

Would the less expensive set be adequate for a church, being used maybe once a week by a trained drummer?
