Description

Our guiro shaker can be played like a regular guiro by scratching the sides with the stick or by shaking it. It’s a two-in-one instrument great for children and to use in the classroom. Children can learn how to make short or long sounds and to create rhythms. It’s the perfect instrument for children to learn percussion on.

Have one similar to this and wanted to try this. It looks smaller. The sound and look of the wood is natural and sturdier.

How many inches long is the ridged part of this guiro?
A shopper on Nov 4, 2013
BEST ANSWER: The ridged part is 4.5 inches - the entire length is 6 inches. It's held up well and is a great instrument made of natural materials. We have enjoyed it!
