Our Perspective

As an Education Consultant, I love to recommend this bell tree to teachers because:

  • It is a fun, versatile instrument – I love using it for sound effects in songs and stories
  • Children love it!
  • It is a quality instrument with great sound
  • It is lighter weight than many other bell trees because it only has eight bells

No music classroom should be without a Bell Tree!  -Jenny

Description

Basic Beat BBTR8 Hand Held Bell Tree

Finally an 8", hand held version of the heavier bell trees!  This chime tree features 8 bells mounted on a wooden handle. A variety of sounds can be created from a glissando by running the mallet across all of the chimes, to individual tones by striking the chimes separately. A fun, versatile instrument that will be loved by all!

  • Mallet included
  • 8" long

This is a fantastic little instrument well worth the money. I use it for transitioning in the classroom, for sound effects, for storytelling, as an accent instrument- it is very multi-purposeful. It is very heavy, but if the kids are sitting down it isn't a problem. Excellent quality. Amazing sound!

I wanted to enlarge collection of chime/bell instruments...didn't have one of these. I would like to see the bells mounted from smallest on top to biggest on the bottom. I may try to change these when I get mine.

I have had similar bell trees. My new school does not have any bell trees and I am on a limited budget so I am trying this.

I needed a bell tree and this was small, convenient, and less expensive than the other bell trees I have found online.
