Initially thought I'd make my own, but if these hold up, what a time saver and good value they'll be.

These bean bags are much better for kids to handle than the slippery nylon or vinyl types. When balancing beanbags on head, or other body parts, they don't slip off as easily as the other styles do!

Someone mentioned that these bags smell, perhaps of formaldehyde? That did not go away after airing them out. But I see some have washed them. Did you have same problem? Are they machine washable? Are they appropriate for a toddler, who may put it in their mouth?
A shopper on Nov 20, 2012
BEST ANSWER: As the manufacturer of this item, the aforementioned smell came from a batch of polypellets I had tried with a new supplier back in 2011. Didn't repeat that! The polypellets are CPSIA compliant and don't have a smell at all.
