Is there anything from Egypt in this book?
Natalie N on Jan 2, 2012
Best Answer: Unfortunately, that book does not have any dances from Egypt. We do carry the book Music in Egypt 821502. This book has a CD. It’s a good resource for an overview of Egyptian music, especially southern and eastern Egyptian. There are no specific dance directions and only one dance is mentioned – a stick dance performed by males, especially at weddings. The material in the book can be used with upper elementary through college, but it’s primarily a resource of information with music examples.
