Book of Rounds, Canons and Partsongs
By the king's singers
This collection of 99 rounds, canons and partsongs is a great introduction to part-singing for groups of all ages. Arranged by category, the songs sample a wide range of styles including wordless rounds, English pre-1700, sacred pre-1700 and songs from around the world. Each song includes melody line and lyrics (when applicable). Tempo and dynamic markings have been intentionally left out, to encourage individual interpretation and to increase the choir's range of vocal colors.
