For Boomwhackers Musical Tubes
Arranged by Chris Judah-Lauder
Book and CD
Upepr elementary and middle school
10 classic themes from all-time great composers, arranged simply and effectively for use with Boomwhackers tuned percussion tubes and unpitched percussion instruments. These arrangements will provide students with a fun way to learn about and perform classical music. Opportunities to include movement and Orff instruments are outlined.
Each piece gives the Boomwhackers tubes and other percussion instruments needed, teaching suggestions, related CD tracks, extension possibilities, full score (including the melody line which is heard on the CD), and copy-permissible "Visual" notation pages for use with students. The included CD has demonstration tracks with the instrument and accompaniment parts, and separate accompaniment-only tracks for performance use.
