To help an adult play guitar. He didn't know how to play guitar and getting the barre chord using just his finger was difficult.

I am working with some clients on playing the guitar on open tuning. It is harder for some clients to barre with their finger and this will help them be able to use all of their finger strength.

this seems a method which should be easy to learn to play the guitar or any similar stringed instrument

A client who loves guitar has CP and at this time, no fine motor skills. I thought this would be the best choice to help him get started playing.

My student needs help with just the strumming hand. Might this be helpful? Or is this more helpful for the other guitar hand?
A shopper on Jan 22, 2014
BEST ANSWER: No, it won't really help the strumming hand. The devise is used on the left hand. It basically creates bar chords and works well with open tuning. I bought it for my brother who has no feeling in his fingers so that he wouldn't get bloody fingers by unwittingly pressing too hard.
How do I order the DVD and book mentioned in disclaimer?
Thank you
