Our Perspective

If you want first 5 notes learned to make up a pentatonic scale, Essential Elements Recorder is a book to consider.  It moves right along and has quite a few songs to a page, so it would work with a middle school age group well.  -Kathy

BEST ANSWER: Yes, I use it with my fourth graders. It is also the book our band director uses, so it's an easy transition for them in fifth grade.
