I am a teacher of grades 5-6 and I want to do a dance for our medieval faire. I see several traditional English dances on this CD. What do you think of this product? Does the music sound real or is it synthesizer? I want authentic sounding music.

Best Answer: Linda: I bought this CD to use for a May Day celebration, so I'm mainly interested in the Maypole Music and the tune called Gathering Peascods. Both of these selections are perfect for our use. The music is not synthesized - it's actual instruments. I would say it's comparable to the kind of music you hear on the Rhythmically Moving CD series. Enjoy your Medieval Faire - sounds like fun.
