Hands to Hands, Too!
By Aimee Curtis Pfitzner
Book/Online Content

Hands to Hands, Too is a collection of familiar and new clapping games from Canada and the USA. Some were created by Pfitzner and her students. Rhythmic play with songs or chants is an instinctive music language of children. These high-energy materials will engage students of all ages.

Each song and clapping game is written with unique body percussion notation to make it easy to learn and teach. Activities include formations, dance steps, or other special instructions. An online code allows access to supplemental materials including full color visuals in PDF and .jpg formats suitable for presentation stations, links to videos of children playing many of the games, and "how-to" videos for some of the more complicated clapping patterns.
