Hohner’s Bluesband line makes learning the harmonica easy – step one: just breathe. This 10-hole, plastic harmonica is designed for beginning players interested in rhythm & blues, and because it’s in the key of C, you’ll be able to easily play with other beginning musicians.

The reeds in a diatonic harmonica are tuned to create the natural notes of a scale. Of the 10 holes, the four middle holes comprise a complete eight-note octave. For chord playing, use the holes on either side of the harmonica. Sharps and flats can be produced by bending and overblowing.

Due to health regulations, harmonicas may be returned for credit only if they are in their original, sealed packaging. If defective, these items will only be exchanged for the same product.

Why only 10 holes and can a 5 year old use it?
A shopper on Jul 25, 2015
Best Answer: a 10 hole harmonica is the simplest harmonica u can find. harmonicas of 12 holes and 24 holes and 31 holes are also available, but are complicated to play. a five year old may be able to use it, but i'd recommend a minimum age of 8 years to start playing a musical instrument.
