Our Perspective

A handy little shaker at a handy little price! These colorful shakers make super party favors, or are a great addition to a basket of exploratory rhythm instruments. They are small and lightweight for little hands and easy to clean with an antibacterial wipe. Be sure to buy 2 of them if you want one for each hand—they are sold separately.  -Melissa

These egg-shaped plastic maracas are 5" high and produce a great shaking rhythm.

May be an odd question, but how well do these work after repeated sanitizing? (i.e. with a bleach/water solution) I have a similar pair of maracas but if they get sanitized too many times in one day or one week the beads inside stick together and don't shake as well. Just wanted to know if this would be a problem since they look similar to my other ones.

Best Answer: my understanding is that you should never submerge instruments like maracas or egg shakers. If you just wipe them with an antibacterial wipe (something like wet ones, not clorox or lysol) you should be fine.
