Our Perspective

This pick is so much fun!  It is a shaker and pick in one so that you are shaking the beat while strumming your guitar. This takes multi-tasking to a whole new level!  -Jenny

Easily held in patients' hands (as opposed to pick), provides additional rhythmic sound while strumming guitar.

I have ordered this item on behalf of my daughter who is wanting it as a surprise present for her partner, a guitar player. He has been wanting to obtain one but they do not seem to be available in the UK.

Hi, I have arthritis, so my finger don't do what I want them to do very well anymore. I don't have a good grip, and my fingers don't move across the strings very well. I really just want to play some elementary type music 1) kids songs for my small grandchildren; and 2) I sit vigil with elderly people - so simple quiet tunes are great. Do you think this would be the right thing for me to get? Along with a capo?
(I used to play the guitar years ago when my fingers were decent.)

BEST ANSWER: It's the size of a small egg, and doesn't need much hand strength to hold on to it. Sounds like the right thing for you. You may also want to consider item #353489: not a regular capo, but one that you place on the neck of the guitar and then to make chords you only have to press 1 button rather than use all left hand fingers. With the help of those 2 items, you can even place the guitar flat on a surface and play that way: it will be easier for the left hand because the weight of your hand will help provide strength to pushing the buttons.
